The patina could be removed with the use of a polishing cloth if a brighter, newer look is desired. The hinged closure is secure and the safety chain provides added security. There is a small indentation that I called out in a photo . Also, in the video it is shown. The shallow indentation does not affect the functionality of the bracelet and is not noticeable when worn.
