Featuring an unusual slightly cove front, it is decorated with a wonderful applied image of the Madonna and child accented with hand painted scrollwork around the face - an Orthodox cross decorates the reverse - ground is black. Condition is very nice with a production paint rub on back in the black area, and a flaw on the front where the lacquer was not quite dry when touched - neither of these minor issues detracts.
