Absolutely Stunning and very early Victorian Mourning brooch, featuring an old style Tin-type or daguerreotype photo of a man in a suit! This brooch is from Approx. 1855-1865, and is in good condition for 170 years old! The piece has it’s original C-clasp style and original long pin (most have been converted to newer, safety type)! The pin clicks into place in the C-chip, and pin has normal amount of wiggle. The piece does have slight splitting at the top (see all photos, photo slightly worn due to age), however does not take away from the beauty one bit! Stunning fully-original Mid-Victorian era piece!
