Provenance: Originated from a large collection of photos by a superb professional photographer whom we believe to either be: Mr. BUD MARKEL REDONDO BEACH CALIFORNIA. * Mr. Sigmund Bud Markel flew 35 combat missions as a B-24 engineer during World War Two. He was employed as an A&P mechanic for United Airlines in Los Angeles from 1948 until his retirement. He was also the editor of The Torretta Flyer military photo magazine and an incredible supporter of the men and women who bravely served in the US Military throughout his lifetime. or by: Infamous Boeing photographer and author Mr. Gordon S.
