Dating back to circa 1950s–1960s, this accent piece is perfectly sized for entryways, vanities, or gallery walls. The clear mirror pane features an elegant, classic V-groove etched geometric border running parallel to the frame, providing a beautiful Hollywood Regency look. The sturdy frame features a solid wood core with beautifully aged, molded gesso (plaster) detailing finished in a rich antique bronze and gold/gilt patina. Dimensions: - Width: 18.5 inches - Height: 36.5 inches - Frame Thickness/Depth: Ranges from 7/8" to 1.5" (at maximum crest thickness) Condition Details: Vintage condition consistent with age. The glass remains remarkably clear with excellent reflection. The frame shows an authentic aged patina with numerous hairline cracks in the brittle gesso molding particularly on the top piece, but also on the side and bottom pieces—this is completely typical of mid-century plaster-over-wood construction and does not affect the structural integrity of the solid wood base. There are also a few chips throughout, particularly one on the bottom right corner. Features the original vintage masonite backing board.
