Up for sale is a beautiful, hard-to-find large-scale vintage mid-century modern Pixie Elf Musician figurine by Tilso. This is the oversized 10.5-inch tall variant, which is much rarer than the common 7-inch versions. Item Details: - Brand: Tilso - Era: 1950s / 1960s Mid-Century Modern (MCM) - Origin: Made in Japan (features the faint circular stamp outline on the lower edge of the base) - Height: Approx. 10.5 inches - Base Diameter: Approx. 7 inches - Material: Heavy composition / hard rubber body, fabric felt outfit, faux pearl details. - Musical Function: This is the non-musical display variant. It features the original solid blue felt protective backing on the bottom of the base. Condition Notes: Good vintage condition with beautiful character and paint retention on the face. The red felt outfit and gold braided trim are intact. The faux pearls are still present on the hands. The base has its original blue felt backing showing minor age-related thinning/spots.
