This is a stunning piece of mid-century fashion that add a bit of iconic history to your collection with this coordinated starburst design it is a genuine vintage, signed Emmons, demi-parure set. An exquisite example of 1950s/1960s atomic style, the brooch and matching clip-on earrings showcase a dimensional, multi-tiered starburst/sunburst design of radiating clear rhinestones and faux white pearls around a deep, glossy solid black domed cabochon set into a gold-tone base metal.  This heirloom-quality set comes directly from its original owner and was carefully preserved inside a home jewelry box for decades, keeping the gold-tone metal work and stone settings in magnificent vintage condition. A dimensional gold-tone star accent sits directly atop each central black cabochon dome, anchored by a bright clear chaton rhinestone. The perimeter flares outward with alternating faux pearls and extended structural rays. The reverse side of each piece displays the excellent structural engineering Emmons was celebrated for. Measurements: Brooch and earrings both measure approximately 1 inch in diameter. Markings: Explicitly stamped with the vintage "EmJ" rectangular box hallmark on the back of the earring clips.
