VINTAGE Solid Brass and Bakelite Wall Hanging Crucifix INRI Jesus Cross - 1940s This is a CLASSIC VINTAGE wall hanging crucifix from the 1940s.  It consists of a solid brass cross with a butterscotch marbled Bakelite inlay.  Attached to the Bakelite are a solid brass Jesus Christ and INRI.  The ends of the cross are molded into trilobes.  This crucifix is AMAZING in its design and vintage vibes.  It is about 5.75 inches tall and 3.5 inches wide.  Crucifixes like this one are usually attributed to having been made in Italy.  This one has a small brass loop on the back for easy hanging.  It is in VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION!  There are no chips, cracks, splitting, scratches or discoloration to the Bakelite.  The brass is not warped or dented.  There is one small area of green patina on the right arm of the cross.
