Vintage Chinese hand-painted decorative egg displayed on a black wooden pedestal inside its original glass presentation case. The egg features a delicate Asian landscape scene with mountains, trees, water and a traditional pavilion. The case has a turquoise/blue interior with decorative fabric-covered trim. Also included is the original “LONG LIFE / 長壽” card, which reads: “Water brings life to all things. The spirit of life in the lakes and waterfalls will revive the tired soul.” The complete display case measures approximately 5 inches tall , and the egg itself measures approximately 2 inches tall , not including the black pedestal. Pre-owned vintage condition. The fabric-covered case shows age-related wear, fraying and discoloration, as shown in the photos.
