The original electric candle/light is present, tested and working. Vintage 1974 Handmade Ceramic Black Cat & Jack-o'-Lantern Halloween Light Charming handmade ceramic Halloween decoration featuring a glossy black cat perched atop a bright orange jack-o'-lantern. The cat wears a pumpkin-top hat and has fiber-optic whiskers. The original electric candle/light is present, tested and working. When illuminated, it produces a flickering candle effect inside the jack-o'-lantern. The piece is dated 1974 and marked with the maker's initials “MAL.” Both “'74” and “MAL” were carved into the ceramic before firing. Measures approximately 12" tall × 7" long × 6.5" wide, with a base approximately 6" in diameter. Weight including the base/electrical components is approximately 2 lb 5.4 oz. The ceramic is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs observed. The fiber-optic whiskers are present; some show slight bends from age and storage.
