A finely cast South Indian devotional bronze depicting a four-armed, crowned goddess (devi) seated in royal ease on a lotus/stepped pedestal, her upper hands holding a lotus blossom and raised in a blessing gesture (abhaya mudra), wearing a tall conical kirita-mukuta crown, layered necklaces, and a beaded waist girdle. Seated beside/on her lap is a smaller, similarly crowned female attendant or child figure, both rendered bare-chested in the traditional South Indian devotional idiom.
