We like to think it was some young person who broke it and fixed it before their mom could find out! This was an estate sale find. It has the rectangle backstamp which is from the 1950s. We did our best to clean out any candle wax while ensuring that it did not receive anymore damage, but there still may be a small bit of wax in the wells. It has been priced accordingly considering the repair! It will be shipped in a large box with plenty of bubble and packing paper for safety, and also insured for its full purchase value.
