Vintage pair of Orchids of Hawaii R-95 Hotei / Happy Buddha figural tiki cocktail mugs, both manufactured in Japan. This listing includes two R-95 mugs in different painted colorways: * Green/yellow robe version * Purple/lavender robe version Each features the recognizable smiling Hotei/Buddha figure with raised arms, hollow ceramic construction, a large rear vessel opening and a smaller circular opening in the front. Both pieces are embossed on the underside: ORCHIDS OF HAWAII R-95 JAPAN Orchids of Hawaii was known for supplying decorative ceramic cocktail and tiki wares for Polynesian-style restaurants and bars.
