Vintage-style pendant necklace set with a large oval polished stone cabochon in banded brown, russet and cream - the colouring and swirled banding are typical of mookaite or a similar picture jasper. The stone is held in a silver-tone frame by four prongs with an open back plate, hung from a ribbed split bail. The chain is a fine curb link with a spring ring clasp. The clasp tag carries a worn stamp that reads 925 sterling silver for the chain. Measured against the ruler in the photos, the stone is roughly 1.25 in tall by 0.9 in wide, with the pendant about 1.6 in tall including the bail. Condition is used.
