An elaborate antique German porcelain serving bowl with a deeply reticulated border of overlapping leaves and vines. Good antique condition with age-related wear. The gilding shows scattered rubbing and loss, particularly along the projecting edges of the reticulated border. The oval bowl is almost entirely defined by its openwork rim, modeled as an intricate network of twisting stems and serrated leaves surrounding a shallow central well. Fine gilt outlining traces the foliage and pierced edges, emphasizing the sculptural construction without overwhelming the white porcelain. At the center is a delicate polychrome floral bouquet in pink, yellow, purple, blue and green, accompanied by several smaller scattered blossoms. Marked RL / Dresden / Bavaria to the underside.
