It is a 1/4 yard of fabric, but it is cut off the bolt differently than the standard 1/4 yard of fabric. It is cut off the bolt at the 1/2 yard length; then it is cut in half by the width of the fabric. This means that the piece of fabric measures  18 x 21-22  inches. It is "fat" instead of "skinny" like the regular 1/4 yard, which measures 9 x 43-44 inches. To change your purchase to a regular "skinny" 1/4 yard: please add a comment to your payment or send us a message thru eBay's "My Message" system. This change does not change the price; fat and skinny FQs are the same.
