This sale is for a very fine VINTAGE Nativity Scene ******* This is not a small set.....the tallest figures are at least 7" in height.. The set includes a stable that stand 12" at the peak, plus the following nine figures: Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, shepherd, three Wise Men, ox, and donkey The material is called chalkware. The stable is wood with a straw roof. Over the years I have had several different vintage nativity figures that were made of this same material and similarly painted....some of them said ITALY on the bottom, and some of them said JAPAN. This set is not marked, but I assume that it is one or the other. **************** All of the pieces are in excellent condition....no chipped paint, no damage. Non-smoking environment.
