Crafted in sterling silver, this piece features a Mexican (possibly Mayan or Aztec Inspired) Man wearing a vibrant enamel head dress and articulated jewelry including swinging earrings and a colorful collar. His face is beautifully carved from onyx and set on a secure sterling backing. This piece is rich in Mexican folk art tradition and modernist style. This excellent vintage brooch has a loop at the top and can be fixed onto a chain, it also has a pin with safety clasp.
