Zh. reproduces the complexity of the modern urban environment. The stylistics of his painting form a single mathematical whole with extremely complex architectural developments. The fascination with archaic plastic, simplified form, and the search for unity between paganism and Christianity is embodied in the iconographic technique of levkas.
