This is a really pretty little piece. There are no visible cracks. The inside of the clam shell is glossy. This is a really pretty little piece. It's made by Lamore China and stamped Made in Occupied Japan, meaning it would have been made sometime between 1945-1952. The figurine is a matte finish and appears to be porcelain. There are no visible cracks. Where the hands and foot meet the shell you can see some of the "glue" I'm not sure if this has been re-glued or if this is how it was originally made. It doesn't appear that it has been "fixed" or re-glued but I can't guarantee it. I did wipe her off but there are still some smudges and dirt type markings. They may come off as well but I didn't want to rub too hard. Overall, for this age of a vintage piece, I would say it is in really nice condition. The inside of the clam shell is glossy. It would be a fun piece to add to your collection or to use for decoration.  You could put some hearts in it and use it for Valentine decor. Please check all pictures and ask any questions.
