These were made by Millers Fall, Stanley and Sargent back in the 60's and 70's. I do know it can make 2 thou shavings and leaves a glass like finish. The blade/iron back was lapped flat to ensure a great edge.. The bevel was corrected and sharpened to 10000 grit. And yes, that is a reflection of my dirty finger in the mirror finish of the bevel. The red paint is approx. 75% present-see pictures. I have taken this plane to its ultimate level.. Condition: Used.
