Instructions for Applying a Sticker to the Laptop Preparing the Surface: Thoroughly clean the surface of the Laptop where the sticker will be applied. Use a clean cloth and isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt, dust, grease, and wax. Ensure the surface is dry, clean, and free of any contaminants. Preparing the Sticker: First, place the notebook on top of the sticker and trace around it with a pen to mark the dimensions. Use a metal ruler or a hard object to cut along the traced lines to trim the sticker. Gently peel off one edge of the protective film from the sticker, being careful not to touch the adhesive surface with your fingers. For larger stickers, consider using mounting tape to pre-position the sticker. Applying the Sticker: Lightly spray the application area with a mixture of water and a small amount of dish soap (optional, to make positioning easier). Start from the top edge and gradually work your way down, pressing the sticker as you go. Use a soft squeegee or a card wrapped in cloth to gently remove air bubbles, working from the center outward. Final Pressing: Once the sticker is evenly applied, firmly press down on the entire surface to ensure proper adhesion. If stubborn air bubbles remain, you can gently puncture them with a needle and smooth out the surface. Drying Time: Allow the sticker to dry completely for at least 24-48 hours. Additional Tips: Applying the sticker in warm, dry conditions makes the process easier. If it’s cold, you can gently heat the sticker and surface with a hairdryer to improve adhesion.
