The overall size of the storage box when closed up is just under 19" across, 9.5" tall and 9.5" deep with a weight of 5 pounds. It does have wear from age. The steamer trunk is made of metal and the sides do hold a magnet. There is an old Fly Eastern Airlines sticker on the 1 side. I did a google search on the logo of the sticker and this was used from 1934 to 1964. A previous owner put a sticker on the inside that says Vogue, Jeff Jan, Ginnette Dolls....I'm guessing that those dolls may fit inside this case.
