This album is one that I am letting go of (because I have several more and I am running out of room to display them!). Victorian photo albums are especially beautiful and I think this is a really fine example of one. ⫸DESCRIPTION⫷ I absolute love antique albums! I have many in my personal collection...albums for post cards, art cards, photographs, cigarette cards...I'm a bit obsessed! This album is one that I am letting go of (because I have several more and I am running out of room to display them!). Victorian photo albums are especially beautiful and I think this is a really fine example of one. It has a cream colored celluloid cover with a beautiful design of a cherub/putti or fairy. The spine and back are covered in teal & cream colored velvet. The pictures inside have been removed, so it's empty and ready for you to fill. There are 13 pages that hold one large picture on each side (so 26 pictures), and two pages that hold 4 smaller pictures on each side (so 16 pictures). The pages are made of thick board and the openings are decorated with a pond design of a waterlily and water plants in gold print. Just gorgeous! ⫸MEASUREMENTS⫷ This measures 10 inches by 8 inches by 2 inches. There are 15 (double sided) pages. Items that are considered "antique" are over 100 years old; items considered "vintage" are over 20 years old. All will rarely be perfect as these jewelry pieces have been worn & loved and will show evidence of that. I always try to note any flaws or issues, but I am human and may miss something....it is never my intention to hide the condition of an item as I do not want anyone to be disappointed with their purchase.
