View Mid-Century Murano MezAmber Hand Blown Art Glass Vase with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. This is a beautiful Mid-Century Murano Mezza Filigrana Vase my grandmother bought in Greece in June of 1968. She said the seller told her this piece was Italian. It's handmade as can be seen looking at the base where the central smooth area is where the pontil (blowpipe/iron handling rod) was attached as evidenced by the "pucker," of the glass pattern created when it was cut off from the bottom causing the patterns pinched appearance there. The piece is old but is flawless as the day it was made. ZERO chips/scratches. Occasional small bubbles trapped in the glass are normal in hand blown art glass. Has good weight but not outrageously so. With water added this vase will be very stable displaying a bouquet on a solid table. Condition: New other (see details).
