A magnificent handcrafted quill silver wire wrap bar pin brooch with dangles from an estate collection of jewelry. 10 strands of the silver wire that are quilled and curled and twisted and then tightly bound together. A magnificent handcrafted quill silver wire wrap bar pin brooch with dangles from an estate collection of jewelry.   I believe the wire used is probably silver or rhodium plated silver as there is no tarnish and it is non magnetic.   The craftsmanship is phenomenal and this brooch or long bar pin is formed from approx. 10 strands of the silver wire that are quilled and curled and  twisted and then tightly bound together.   Even the long pin and clasp are formed from the twisted wire.  There are 9 dangles that are also beautifully crafted with blue green gemstones, possibly Azurite or Eliat.
