This is an antique Venetian millefiori elbow shaped bead with  longitudinal laid cane which was made in Italy very long ago and was traded into Africa where it was used as tribal adornment and trade currency in the African trade. This Italian made African trade bead  is in g reat condition with slight wear and some dings.
