The Epic #1141 Rose Bowl was introduced in 1957. Vintage Viking Art Glass Epic Rose Bowl, catalog number #1141, in the striking Bluenique color. This petite mid-century rose bowl features a rounded, sculptural body, small collared base and Viking’s distinctive hand-shaped, four-lobed undulating rim. The rich transparent glass reads as a deep blue-green or teal, with darker tones where the glass is thickest. The Epic #1141 Rose Bowl was introduced in 1957. Bluenique was offered for this form by 1958, and this example most likely dates from approximately 1958–1961. The form was produced for only a relatively short period.
