Beautifully detailed cutting includes hobstars, fan motifs, crosshatched panels, deep geometric miters, small starbursts, and a heavily cut sawtooth/scalloped rim. Features a substantial applied clear glass loop handle. The cutting and construction are consistent with American Brilliant Period work. The pattern and maker have not been definitively identified. Thomas Shotton Cut Glass Works is a possible attribution based on comparison with documented Shotton designs of the period, but this piece is unsigned and is being sold as maker unknown. Approximately 5¼ inches across the bowl, approximately 6¼–6½ inches overall including the handle, and weighs 15.4 oz. Excellent used condition. No chips, cracks or flea bites.
