The colorful view shows the classic Town Square with horse-drawn streetcars, early Main Street vehicles, period storefronts, crowds of park guests, and the American flag flying above the square. The reverse is marked A-4 and identifies the card as a Walt Disney Productions / Disneyland Inc. postcard. The printed description reads in part that Main Street’s Town Square represents a typical small town of the early 1900s, where gas lamps were gradually being replaced by electricity and horse-drawn transportation was giving way to the “horseless carriage.” This issue appears to date to approximately the 1960s. The postcard is unposted and unused, with no handwriting, stamp, address, or postmark. It shows light age-related wear consistent with a vintage paper collectible.
