The interior features rich magenta-maroon bands overlayed with intricate gold scrollwork and autumn maple leaf overlays, surrounding a central "floating" floral bouquet of pink cabbage roses, daisies, and forget-me-nots. The hand-painted code on the bottom of the saucer is pattern number 9328, with an additional letter "Y" painted underneath.The "Y" code below the number is a decorator's mark or batch stamp, which indicates the specific artisan in the factory who hand-painted or applied the gold filigree detailing to the set.
