Vintage Sterling Silver Cultured Pearl Screw-Back Earrings Elegant vintage sterling silver earrings featuring a matched pair of large approximately 10.3 mm genuine cultured pearls set within distinctive darkened scalloped silver surrounds. The earrings use traditional adjustable screw-back closures for non-pierced ears , a construction strongly associated with earlier-to-mid-20th-century jewelry. Based on the closure design, setting construction, materials and overall workmanship, these appear consistent with mid-century jewelry, approximately 1940s–1960s , although an exact date and maker have not been established.
