This is a stunning statement/runway set from Nina Ricci that features faux emeralds and rhinestones on a gold tone base.  The set includes a choker style serpentine chain necklace and a pair of clip on earrings.  The necklace closes with a double fold over clasp closure.  Nina Ricci hallmarks can be found in several locations (backside of fold over clasps, backside of the earring clips, NR on the top of the connector piece and the backside of the gold frame to the emerald pendant).  Earrings come still attached to their original Higbee's display tag. Display tag notes "MADE IN/FABRIQUE AU CANADA".  I have photographed using a measuring tape to show size.  Higbee's stores operated under the Higbee's name until 1992.  So, I would place this set probably to the 1980's.  Set is in good vintage pre-owned condition.  I did note that there is a missing rhinestone to the side of the emerald in the necklace (see 4th photo).  Also, noted is some tarnish to the gold finish on the necklace (see last photo for an example).  Please review and enlarge all photos for additional details, views and measurements.
