View 7-1/2" Stanley Rule & Level No 15 try & miter square w hang hole & angled handle with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. It is marked with "STANLEY" in the oval border on one side of the handle, and with "STANLEY RULE & LEVEL CO NEW BRITAIN CONN USA" on one side of the blade. the Number 15 was made from 1874 to 1935. The first type had a brass handle, and that was changed in 1898 to the cast iron handle with a nickeled finish. You are bidding on one 7-1/2" Stanley Number 15 try and miter square as pictured. It is marked with "STANLEY" in the oval border on one side of the handle, and with "STANLEY RULE & LEVEL CO NEW BRITAIN CONN USA" on one side of the blade. the Number 15 was made from 1874 to 1935. The first type had a brass handle, and that was changed in 1898 to the cast iron handle with a nickeled finish. This is the second type, and with the SR&L logo, probably made between 1898 and maybe 1910, which is roughly when they would have switched to the V shaped logo.   Blade width is about 7-1/2", measured from the tip of the blade to the near side of the handle. It is graduated in 8ths of an inch and the inches numbered on both sides at the upper edge of the blade. Condition is good, except for the hang hole, and the blade shows nickeling loss, and you can see some of the copper wash that was underneath the original nickeling. The handle has some faint pitting, and the blade has some small areas of very light pitting, mostly on the non-logo side. The outer upper corner of the blade is bent slightly, and the blade has a slight kink less than an inch out from the handle if  you sight down the upper edge.  SHIPPING: Under 1 pound, shipped in a padded envelope, shipped USPS Ground Advantage, insurance and tracking are included.
