This whimsical pitcher is molded and hand painted to resemble a storybook cottage, complete with a textured roof, windows, doorway, trees and a handle incorporated into the cottage design. The bottom is stamped “MADE IN JAPAN” and also has vintage handwritten numbers/notations. The piece has wonderful age and character, including extensive overall crazing to the glaze, which is visible both inside and outside and gives it that unmistakable vintage look.
