It's still very much a gold color, and the base is sterling silver 925. The 5 colors Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple are all genuine stones tested with the Presidium II Gem Tester. Garnet, Citrine, Peridot, Blue Topaz and Amethyst.  The vermeil does show some wear, being a bit lighter in gold tone then it would have been in new condition. It's still very much a gold color, and the base is sterling silver 925. FAS is a great brand.
