The Poppies on Blue pattern features 3 deep red poppies motifs with green and blue stylized leafs on the creamy ivory flat cup. The For the Blues pattern is a double navy blue pinstripe ring at the rim of the saucer. Offering for sale, an everyday favorite Lenox Chinastone pattern, 7 sets of Poppies on Blue cups and For the Blues Patterns saucers. The Poppies on Blue pattern features 3 deep red poppies motifs with green and blue stylized leafs on the creamy ivory flat cup. The For the Blues pattern is a double navy blue pinstripe ring at the rim of the saucer. The trademark on the bottom of the cup was used from 1953-1989, dating the cups and saucers to 1984-1989 time frame. Each flat cup is 3-3/8” inches diameter and 2-3/4” tall and is 6-1/2” from cup edge to end of handle. The saucer is 6-1/4” diameter. Each cup and saucer set weighs 13.4 oz and holds 8 ounces of liquid filled to the rim. The set is microwave safe. Technically, these are used cups & saucer sets because I purchased them at an estate sale. There were price sticker paper piece remnants on the cups bottoms that I peeled/washed/scrubbed off. The cups & saucers might be new, never used…but I can’t prove it. Just because I’ve washed sticker remains off doesn’t mean it’s a new cup and saucer. The cups and saucers are in excellent condition without nicks, chips or staining and the color is strong and vibrant. Check the photos for the full description and condition.
