I was told it had been purchased at a glass studio in Half Moon Bay California. I have been displaying it in a window for the last 30 years. My research into the piece (AI & Professional Studio Exam) suggests it is a collectable vintage high-quality Piece : The Shape is a Quatrefoil: A cross with four equal, rounded extensions is a quatrefoil . This is a classic architectural element found in historic Gothic and church windows. The Shiny Strips of Water are Dichroic or Iridescent Glass:  High-end iridescent  or dichroic glass . These glasses have metallic oxides baked onto the surface, causing them to shimmer, shift colors, and mimic the natural sparkle of water. The Thick Silver Lines mean High Quality: Thick, perfectly even, silver-colored solder lines indicate masterful craftsmanship using the copper foil technique . The silver color comes from a premium tin-and-lead alloy mix that was meticulously applied, cleaned, and left un-patinated to keep its bright metallic finish. The   presence of a tight leaded or zinc U-channel came border (the metal wrapping) confirms this is a professionally finished panel meant to be hung or built directly into a window opening.
