The front illustration depicts a festive winter scene of a boy pushing a girl on a green wooden sled during a gentle snowfall. The young girl is holding a large, vibrant bunch of green holiday holly with bright red berries alongside a wrapped Christmas gift. Framed beautifully at the top with a realistic border of hanging winter icicles over a snowy landscape background. The card features lovely embossed detailing that gives a wonderful raised texture to the snow, icicles, and clothing. The reverse features a divided back design printed in Germany , addressed to Miss Laura Thompson in Winchester, New Hampshire. Includes a brief, sweet handwritten message from a relative: "From Aunt Eva" along with a historic 1-cent green George Washington postage stamp . Condition Very good antique condition with crisp, rich colors and strong visual detail on the lithograph. Posted/Used with a handwritten note, address, and intact stamp on the back, though it lacks a heavy postal ink cancellation over the image. Light, normal corner rounding and edge wear consistent with a circulated paper item from the early 1900s. Faint pencil notation "MH" from a previous dealer/collector near the top edge of the reverse side. Clean overall layout with no heavy creases, major staining, or tears.
