Manufactured in Germany during the late 19th to early 20th century (pre-WWII), this high-quality piece features a cast nickel-plated brass frame inlaid with genuine dark ebony wood, securely held in place by its original small brass pins.Key Features for Collectors:Front: Features a highly detailed corpus of Christ beneath an INRI scroll banner. The base displays a traditional Golgotha/Memento Mori skull and crossbones emblem.Back: Decorated with an intact, crisply stamped Sacred Heart medallion featuring the crown of thorns, a liturgical sword, and a lily stalk.Markings: Clearly stamped "GERMANY" on the bottom reverse metal frame, indicating its early export status.Condition:Excellent antique condition with a rich, natural uncleaned patina.
