Item description This is a beautiful antique Christmas postcard printed in Germany by publisher T & T, featuring a handwritten date of 1910 on the front. The front artwork shows a striking scene of Santa Claus pulling a pink ribbon to ring two large gold bells , which are tied with a pink bow beneath architectural archways. Santa is standing next to a brilliantly lit Christmas tree covered in glowing candles and ornaments, carrying a basket on his back with a doll inside, all framed by holly and mistletoe at the bottom. The reverse side shows a distinct divided back format featuring an ornate, deeply embossed floral pattern across the background. It includes a handwritten pencil holiday greeting from Bessie to Carrie, but it was never postally mailed and does not have a stamp or postmark. Features clear publishing marks on the back, including the "T & T" logo , serial number "509.", and a vertical "Made in Germany." text imprint. Condition Pre-owned antique condition with notable physical wear from handling and age. There is a prominent, bad crease in the upper right corner that impacts the paper structure in that section. Minor corner bumping and general edge wear are present across the other borders, consistent with a handled paper item over a century old.
