Authentic antique Standard Sanitary pedestal bathroom sink, manufactured/stamped Oct. 1926 and removed from a 1927 house. This is not a reproduction. It has the blue manufacturer stamp, blue Oct. 1926 date stamp, original pedestal, original hardware, and the original Standard-marked copper/brass drain stopper assembly. **I have better pictures of it cleaned up, I don’t know what happened to them but I will upload them next time I get to the storage unit. I also have the 1920’s black Italian marble that went around the sink with toothbrush holder, towel holder, soap dish, and a few other items I was able to pull out in one piece. I would love to see someone install it in a new bathroom it would be beautiful. The sink was installed and fully functional before removal. I personally used it and washed my hands in it — water pressure was very good and the stopper/drain assembly worked. Great piece for a historic bathroom restoration, 1920s home restoration, architectural salvage project, period-correct remodel, old-house restoration, or collector of antique plumbing fixtures. Condition is antique used condition with age-related wear, crazing/hairlines, staining, patina/verdigris on the original metal parts, and normal surface wear from nearly 100 years of use. Please review all photos carefully. Very heavy. Local pickup preferred. Also available from the same 1927 house: original copper/brass doorbell plate with builder name and date, which helps support the history/provenance of the house. This sink was removed from a 1927 home, and I also have the matching original pieces from the same bathroom that was used for this sink, available separately, including granite/stone bathroom pieces, toothbrush holder, towel holder, other period bathroom hardware, and the original copper/brass working doorbell plate with builder name and date. Great opportunity for a complete 1920s restoration bundle. Asking $899.99 or best reasonable offer. ***I have noticed that the 2 knobs mounted in the wall above the sink, that turned the water on are missing, they were turn handles and I do have a picture somewhere of them but someone threw them out. So that is one piece that will have to be replaced to future buyers. I do apologize as I thought they were still on the job but someone must have accidentally thrown them out. Shipping price will depend on where buyer is from. I may deliver it myself or we can work something out to meet half way or pay for a local freight company to hand deliver as this is extremely fragile.
