A charming set of two vintage Hello Kitty tableware items, both featuring the rare 1976 Sanrio copyright and made in Japan. This lot includes a ceramic bowl featuring Hello Kitty baking an apple pie, and a slightly blue-tinted, textured glass cup with a cute summer nautical/sailor theme. Notably, the bottom of the glass cup bears the "ADERIA" mark, a famous Japanese glassware manufacturer highly prized by Showa-era retro collectors. A wonderful addition for serious Sanrio fans! Both items are in beautiful vintage condition. Please note the following: There are NO structural cracks, chips, or breaks in either the glass or the ceramic body. Please note that the mark under Hello Kitty's eye on the glass cup is not paint loss or damage, but appears to be an original manufacturing misprint (a stray ink mark from the production process). This is a common and charming characteristic of vintage 1970s glassware. There is some minor paint fading/rubbing off in other areas (such as the red bow) due to age.
