No nicks or breaks.  The scalloped top and base are trimmed in black.  Four specks of black on scalloped top area occurred in firing decades ago in Japan by the Gold Castle CHIKUSA Company.  This was brought back from Japan many decades ago by my Uncle who was a Merchant Marine.  Condition: Used.
