View Antique German 6.5” Bisque Gentleman Dollhouse Doll Mustache Man c1900 with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. He has bisque lower arms and long bisque lower legs with molded and painted black boots, attached to a cloth body. He is in very good antique condition overall. There is expected light age wear, and the soles of the painted boots show wear/loss as photographed. Antique German 6.5” Bisque Gentleman Dollhouse Doll Mustache Man c1900 Wonderful antique German male dollhouse doll dating approximately 1890–1910, measuring about 6.5 inches tall. He has a beautifully modeled and painted bisque shoulder head with short molded brown hair, blue painted eyes, rosy cheeks, red lips, a tiny painted beauty mark, and an especially charming large curled brown mustache. He has bisque lower arms and long bisque lower legs with molded and painted black boots, attached to a cloth body. The back of the shoulder plate is incised with numbers that appear to read “448”, along with additional faint numbers/marks. There is also a faded purple maker or factory stamp on the cloth body, although I have not been able to decipher it. He is in very good antique condition overall. I do not see any obvious major damage to the bisque. There is expected light age wear, and the soles of the painted boots show wear/loss as photographed. His cloth body also shows normal age-related discoloration and wear. He is being sold undressed and would be wonderful costumed as a Victorian or Edwardian gentleman, father, shopkeeper, doctor, or other character for an antique dollhouse display. A particularly appealing and increasingly difficult-to-find antique male German dollhouse doll with loads of personality. Measurements: Approximately 6.5 inches tall.
