The oval plaque is white milk glass with a gold painted laurel and fan border, and the raised cameo portrait of a woman in profile is a warm carnelian brown glass. It is set in an antiqued gold tone frame cast to look like segments of bamboo, with an open gallery around the stone. The back has a pin stem with a safety catch plus a hanging bail, so it can be worn as a brooch or on a chain. It measures approximately 1 3/4 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches wide. The back is unsigned. A ruler is shown in the photos. CONDITION: Good vintage condition. The cameo plaque is intact with no chips or cracks noted and sits securely in the frame.
