Vintage 1950s Red Glass & Rhinestone Floral Necklace – 16" Beautiful vintage short necklace featuring rich ruby-red faceted glass beads set along a delicate gold-tone chain. The centerpiece is a small flower composed of deep red prong-set rhinestones surrounding a central red stone, finished with a matching faceted red glass bead drop. The necklace has a particularly attractive construction. Faceted glass beads are incorporated into decorative gold-tone wire links along both sides of the necklace, with two additional beads framing the floral centerpiece. The combination gives the necklace plenty of color and sparkle while retaining a delicate mid-century appearance. The flower is constructed with individually prong-set stones on a gold-tone metal setting. The reverse shows the period-style assembled construction and central fastener. A traditional spring-ring clasp completes the necklace.
