From The Vintage Vault: A charming pair of vintage miniature chipmunk figurines, nicely detailed for their size. One sits upright holding an acorn to its mouth, tail curled high behind it; the other crouches low with its tail flicked up in an S curve. Both are hand painted in warm browns and cream with dark dorsal stripes, white bellies, painted eyes and whisker marks. Small enough for a dollhouse, a curio shelf, a terrarium or a fairy garden. The seated one stands approximately 1 5/8 inches tall and the crouching one is approximately 1 5/8 inches long. A white organza drawstring gift bag is included. A ruler is shown in the photos. CONDITION: Good vintage condition. Both figures are complete with no chips or breaks noted and the hand painted detail is crisp. There are faint mould seam lines and some light speckling and age dulling to the finish, most visible under close magnification. Neither figure is marked. The white organza gift bag is included.
