View Vintage African Hand Carved Wood Safari Animals Lot Of 6 with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. My grandmother bought these wooden animal carvings in Africa in the 1970's. The set includes two lions, a giraffe, warthog, rhinoceros, and a water buffalo. They are in perfect condition with the exception of the water buffalo that has a broken horn, see last three photos for this detail. They range in size, the giraffe is 8" tall. The larger lion is about 8" long and 4 1/2" tall. The smaller set is all 4 1/2- 5" long and approx 3- 3 1/4" tall. They make a handsome set!
