This beautiful and highly collectible vase is about 6” in height and would make a lovely addition to your mantle or bookcase. Vintage gilded & hand-painted Japanese Kutani porcelain vase from the 1950s or 1960s in terrific condition! This is a famous style of Japanese overglaze porcelain originating from the Ishikawa prefecture, and featuring a hand-painted scene depicting a serene rural Japanese landscape with thatched-roof village huts, a large wooden waterwheel, and a distinct outline of Mount Fuji in the background. The vase is heavily accented with detailed gold leaf (gilding) on the pine trees, rocks, et al. There is a red and gold patterned shoulder, and fine gold rings encircling the rim and foot. This beautiful and highly collectible vase is about 6” in height and would make a lovely addition to your mantle or bookcase. There are no flea bites, chips, stains, or cracks. Condition: Used.
